Die heutige Grohe AG wurde 1936 zunächst als Familienunternehmen von Friedrich Grohe gegründet. Als großer deutscher Armaturenhersteller, hatte sich Grohe im Laufe der Zeit zum Weltmarktführer entwickelt. Heute gehört Grohe zur japanischen Lixil Group.
